Meet Dr. Malone

Hi! I’m Dr. Susan Malone! I attended college at North Texas State University, and then completed my BS in Chemistry at Grove City College, Pennsylvania in 1980. I obtained my DDS degree at Loyola University of Chicago in 1984.

I currently hold memberships in these dental organizations: American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Vacationland District Dental Society, and Donated Dental Services Team.

Advanced dental continuing education has been the backbone of my 40+ years of dental practice. I have completed extensive professional training in everything from cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridge techniques, occlusion, and full mouth rehabilitation, to implant design and sleep appliance therapy. I believe in furthering the education of our staff as well, and we regularly attend dental seminars and classes together.

My husband, Michael, and I have been married since 1984. We have two children; both graduated from Petoskey High School. Our daughter Megan graduated from Grand Valley State University with an Advertising and Public Relations major and graduated from New York University with a Masters degree in Graphic Communication Management Technology; she and her husband, Damon, have returned to Michigan after many years of residence in New York City.  Our son, Shane, graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering; he and his wife, Alexis, now live and work in San Diego, California.
